As an experiment, the Ku Klux Klan decided to find an intelligent black person to speak at a huge rally, and they chose you! What will you say? Compose a mini-speech of 350 to 550 words. You could speak out against racism, try to convince them of their error of their ways, etc. Remember that your response must be written as a mini-speech.
***As with any school assignment, speak your mind intelligently and responsibly. I know, it's the KKK, but cursing or hateful language is not acceptable.
I feel that this black and white nonsense needs to stop! You’ll treat us like garbage. We can’t even drink or use the bathroom from the same place. I don’t understand why Klan members adopted masks and robes that hid their identities and added to the drama of their night rides, their chosen time for attacks. Why do you people want to hurt us? Choose black people because we aren’t the same color? Even when we try to get money have good business you come to tear it apart.

Being that most of you are Christians and so am I, I have decided to start my speech with a biblical message. It is stated that were all created in the image of God. So, who are you to separate what God the father has created. When we were created God never made any of us superior to the other, male or female, young or old and also black or white. Furthermore it is the bible that commands us not kill each other, not to be jealous of others possessions, not to steal others belongings but it tells us to love each other as we love ourselves and love each other as He has loved us. If you really obey the Heavenly father why then do you kill my brothers and sisters, why do you make us live under so much fear and why is it so difficult to accept that we are humans too.
ReplyDeleteWe also know that you should treat other people in the ways you would also like to be treated. I know that my life would be bitter and worse than it is now if I was placed in your shoes. I would not be able to sleep at night knowing that I just took the life of someone else’s father, child or spouse. So imagine how you would feel if the tables were turned. How would you feel if your family members suddenly "disappeared”? How would you feel waking up to a cross that's on fire in your front yard? How would it feel living under so much fear and hostility? Imagine how it would feel for your children to be placed in a segregated school. With them being the ones who receive the least education. Put yourselves in our shoes, having to peek through the window before you leave your house is not nice at all.
With that said ladies and gentleman I have good news for you tonight. As the black race we have had to meet and have great decision making sessions. The bible tells us that our Father says forgive as I have forgiven you. Therefore my brothers and sisters we understand that whatever it is that drove you to have so much anger in you happened for a reason. We as the black people are willing to forgive you if all this nonsense is ended immediately.

I'm going to start this week blog by saying hate group like the KKK are very ingorant in my opinion I feel they just hate black people just to hate US , but not really giving A good logic reason why they hate us with a passion.

On the behalf of the black community we have a couple of question for your all. The first question being why do you hate us so much? We human just like you so why you have a deep hatred for us? Can some please answer this question for me!
Yall have this saying that we should got back to africa..well why yall brought us here in the first,if you hated us that much so why you brought us here .... you could when to Asia or India to go get some slaves from there.. why you choose africa? We was sitting in africa minding our own business and here yall go...bringing us to a land that we don't know and making us to property. How will you feel if you was treated as property and treat as if you was treated as dirt on the ground? Will you like it?Will you like if someone called all types of names to put you down?You will want people to treat you the way you want to be treated.
You say black people is nothing but a bunch of nappy headed ingorant n****, but yet yall the ones who being ingorant because you should justice someone by they their skin color , race,sex,sexual perfernce or religion, you should justice someone by their chacater.By the way on yall quote we should go back to africa ...will we have bad new for yall We not going back, because we have work hard in this country , so basically we help build in so we staying ....

ReplyDeleteSo one day, I pick up the phone and I hear it is one the of the members of the KKK. I would say to them "ok, goodbye," but then they told me to wait. They told me to speak in a huge rally and they will promise not to harm me or I will not harm them because there will be security guards. I will accept it. At the rally, some of the things that I will ask the members of the KKK is "why do you all hate us black people too much? You all are trying to attack us in the past because you all did not want equal rights?" You all kept on attacking us for nothing. This is all nonsense!What does the words Ku Klux Klan stand for? Does it means something in French? Ha ha ha so funny. You all said that we should go back to Africa and make this country 100 percent white. So one question, why you all brought us hear? To be as slaves? When Abraham Lincoln issed the Emansimation Proclaimation which ended slavery, you all want us out of here? No way! Did you know how much work we had to do in the past when we were slaves? Then we had racism mostly in the south where whites can do mostly any thing. Then there were changes where there were equal rights and now we have a black president Barack Obama. Maybe some time he will end the KKK.

Why couldn't the whites treat the blacks as they treats there other peers? How racism all started? These are question that I really be asking myself sometimes. Like I be wondering like if the blacks was equal with whites like would they get the same thing the whites got or no? Like really. Like racism meaning like going against each other. But this racism need to end because it don't make no sense to treat one person like dirt and the other sweet. I don't know why the KKK burning church crosses like they disrespecting your religion. This racism really don't make no sense to me. I wonder how this racism really started or how it happened. All the black just do cleaning after the whites and farming. All the blacks wanted to be treated as the whites. Many people don't know how many religion and blacks have been hurt deeply inside them because of how the white get better opportunities then them. For example education, jobs, and money. But with that said ladies and gentlemen I have great news that all this race have to end and each and every one of y'all going to show love to all the blacks. The Bible says:"Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. Until y'all make that change and step the non sense we all will get some where together.
